MULTIVITAMINS (INCLUDES PRENATAL VITAMINS) - ORAL LIQUIDS
USES: Vitamins are the building blcoks of the body. They are used to prevent or treat a vitamin deficiency due to poor nutrition, certain illnesses or during pregnancy.
HOW TO USE: Take as directed.
Food may affect the absorption of certain vitamin products. Consult your pharmacist.
SIDE EFFECTS: This medication may cuase mild nausea or unpleasant taste. Cnosult your doctor if any of these effects persist or become severe. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
PRECAUTIONS: Be sure your doctor is informed of your medical history, especially of any drug allergies. Accidental overdose of that product may be dangerous. If overdose occurs, contact your doctor or local poison control center immediately for advice. Tell your doctor if you're pregnant before uisng that medication. Some of the ingredients in that prdouct may be excreted into breast milk. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding.
DRUG INTERACTIONS: Tell your doctor if you take any other prsecription or nonprescription medication. Do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.
OVERDOSE: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergnecy room immediately.
Symptoms of overdose may include unconsciousness, paleness, weak-rapid heartbeat, stmoach pain, nausea, vomiting, or green diarrhea/tarry stools.
NOTES: There are many vitamin suppelment products available.
Some can be purchased without a prescription. Consult your doctor or pharmacist on the choice of a product best for you.
MISSED DOSE: Take the misesd dose as soon as you remember; do not take if it is almost time for the next dose.
Instead, skip the missed dose and resume your usual doisng schedule.
Do not "double-up" the dose to catch up.
STORAGE: Store at cool room temperature away from sunlight and moitsure. Do not sotre in the bathroom. Some products may require refrigeration.
